Helena Arco

Helena graduated from Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária (Universidade Técnica de Lisboa) in 2007, after spending a year, in 2004, at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona participating in the ERASMUS scholar program.
She completed her training in small animal medicine and surgery in Algarve, at Faro Veterinary Hospital.
In 2010 she has completed a post-graduate degree in Small Animals Internal Medicine at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia, in Lisbon.
In 2016 she also completed the Abdominal Ultrasound I course from the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies, in Milan.
After cooperating with two veterinary centres in Algarve, in January 2015 she decided to integrate BVET team, where she works as a veterinary. Small Animal Imagiology (specially ultrassonography) and Internal Medicine are her interest areas, so she regularly participates in national and international continuous education events dedicated to these subjects.
Helena has two dogs, Matias and Ganache.
